Who will win West Bengal Assembly Election 2011

Suddenly something the whole country is looking at. This time assembly election in West Bengal is one of the biggest election in Indian history. As one side there is a party who is ruling the state for 34 long years. And on another side there is Trinamool Congress which lead by Mamata Banerjee alone. CPIM lead Left Front has been ruling the state for more than half time of independence India. They came to power after defeating National Congress in 1977. Bengal has seen only two ruling parties in the state since India’s independent.
This is a record in the world of democracy that, there has been no change in last 34 years in West Bengal. It doesn’t looks like this record is any good for Bengal. If we compare Bengal when CPIM came into power in 1977 with current Bengal the graph has gone downwards in last two decades. Bengal was on the top then in almost every field. Whatever it was in Agriculture, in Manufacturing or even in GDP. But now Bengal doesn’t even stands in the top five list.
If we talk about the opposition party in this election, this is the strongest opposition for CPIM in last 34 years. Mamata Banerjee lead Trinamool Congress is the biggest thread to CPIM. She alone has turned everything up side down for CPIM government. She won 25 (19 TMC + 6 NC) seats out of 43 seats in the lokshabha election in 2009 when she made an alliance with National Congress. After that the trend is still continuing for her. Mamata lead TMC won Municipality elections, Gram Panchayet elections and even elections in schools and colleges after that huge blow in 2009. TMC has captured a few labour unions also in last two years.
And now if we consider the survey done by various media and research organizations the trend of change will remain intact. If we look at the popularity that Mamata Banerjee as gained in last two years, it can really change the scenario completely. With alliance with National Congress this is the best time for TMC and the worst for CPIM.

For me, as a voter in West Bengal I want a change. And my vote is for TMC and Congress Alliance.
For the result we have to wait till 13th May 2011 when the result will be announced by election commission of India.
Go cast your vote and make your opinion count.
