Change Excel’s default Subtotal format

The Subtotal function in MS Excel is one of the most used functions. But the default formatting of this function is not as good as the function is. Default function only Bolds the title but not the result. SO lets change it our won way.
To do this automatically we are going to use Conditional Formatting.

  • Click on Conditional Formatting >> New Rule… and Select Use a formula to determine which cell to format
  • Put this code there

This formula needs absolute reference to the column and the row to work
