Much awaited election dates are announced today in a press conference held by Election Commission of India. Chief Election Commissioner Shahabuddin Yaqoob Quraishi (S. Y. Quraishi) announced the dates. Election will be held in five states of India i.e. Assam, Keral, Pondecheri, Tamilnadu & West Bengal.
Polls in West Bengal will be held in 6 phases.
