Wake up early for an elephant safari in Kaziranga. Guide will take you to the elephant riding point by jeeps. The elephant ride is best for the forest and it is possible to observe jungle creatures from the very close distance. After, you will go for jeep safari and after lunch you can visit the western zone of the National park and you can also spent some time at the Donga view point.

Shillong to Cherrapunjee
Later, you will drive to leave for Cherrapunjee, distance of 65kms from Shillong. Cherrapunjee is officially known as Sohra. It was the headquarters of the Khasi and Jaintia province during the British rule before shifting to Shillong in 1864. This is due to the inconvenience caused by excessive rain during the monsoon months.
