I still use Entropay many times for online transactions. Best option with Entropay is you can create your VCC any time you want and destroy it any time after your purchase so that your card can’t be misused. Add the exact amount(minimum $20) and spend it as you wish then destroy it. Create and destroy as many cards as you need and there is no(absolutely no) charges for this. Imran – No you can’t use Maestro cards for this purpose. You need a card with 16 digit card number and a Name printed on the card with a CVC code. Maestro card numbers are 20 digit numbers and doesn’t have Name or CVC code.

Imran – State Bank of Travancore comes under State of India group so you have to select either SBI group Visa or Master card link depending on the logo printed on your card.
Card No means the number (16 digit) printed on your ATM card. It is neither account number nor the PIN.

I was trying to make payment through my Entropay VCC and when I selected Credit card option and selected visa after that I fill 16 digit number and CVV code and issuing bank name and click on submit button It showing the Invalid card number…Please tell me the proper procedure to use it.
Aparna if you have already registered your CARD for online transactions (methods given above) then I guess you have not entered the right Card Number or have selected wrong bank name. Other wise there is no other reason for such errors. So next time, make sure your card is registered for online transactions and type your card details carefully.

Aparna – First I thought that you were having problems while loading funds to your Entropay Account but the snap shows that you are facing the problem when you are trying to use your Entropay card on third party website.
If it is so then the payment page (on the image) doesn’t seems familiar to me. A credit card payment page always has a field for “Name (printed on the card)” and I have never seen “The issuing bank Name” field on such payment pages. You should contact your merchant so that they can help.

Hi Apoorva. Does your debit card has your name printed on the card? As far I have seen Maestro cards are not accepted by any international sites as well as Entropay. My SBI Maestro cards too doesn’t work.
You will need a debit card where your name is printed on the card. Ask for an international ATM cum Debit card from the bank.
yeah i contacted the customer care and they said maestro cards cannot be used…i used another visa card to top up and made an ebay puschase as a guest..the product was for 9.49$ with free shipping but more than 11$ was debitted from the card…i am a newbie to ebay shopping so can you pls tell me why this happened?
Did you made the payment via Entropay VCC or Visa Credit/Debit card that has been issued by your bank?
If it was the second option then it looks like your bank has charged you for foreign exchange (you paid in $s right?). + May be your bank has applied some charges for online payments using the card. You should ask your bank about the transaction.

Then there might be a card verification charge that was applied by ebay which should be refunded back to you in 3-4 days.
I would say you must ask ebay about the transaction. Just call them and provide your transaction id.

It is a normal debit card of Bank of Baroda.
Paypal won’t be able to charge a Debit card because debit cards need a password/pin before it can be charged and therefore you won’t be able to verify using the debit card. You can add your bank account information i.e. bank account number & pan card to verify your account. Check through the verification options on Paypal and select the right one. That way you won’t be charged a single paise

@Vishal Entropay charges a flat 4.95% on any amount(min $20) as transaction fees while loading funds. That is all. There is no other charges for using the card for making online payments.
My bank(IDBI, SBI) never charged anything for loading funds to Entropay account and I believe there wont be any charges on other banks too.

i read ur blog and did the same i came all the way but the thing is that when i added VCC (entropay) to my paypal account, paypal deducted small amount and asked for the ‘EXPUSE CODE’ which should be in the statement of credit card (vcc) i’m waiting frm 3 days i didnt see any statement in my entropay vcc? any idea how much time wil it take to show statement?
Yes this is true that Entropay is too slow to build a final statement for account activity. Wait for few more days may be as long as 15-20 days or till the end of the month.

Yes this is possible to pay via SBI ATM cum Debit Card but only if you have already registered your ATM cum Debit for online payments. If your card is not registered for making online payments then you will be redirected to the card registration page when you process your payment. This is one time registration and won’t take more than a minute. Make sure you have the ATM pin with you.
You can also register your card for future without making a payment via the links given above. Click on the appropriate link and register your card so that you can make online payments via SBI debit cum ATM card.

Abhishek transferring money from Entropay card to bank account costs some really high percentage and I don’t think it is a good idea to cash your money unless you have no other option.
Paypal allows you to withdraw your money directly to your bank account in India and that is completely free of cost, so I would recommend you to add and verify your bank account information in your Paypal account. This is the best option to cash your money in India.

I don’t think verifying Paypal id with Debit card is possible but yes it is possible to verify Paypal account using Entropay Credit Card. If you are having trouble with then you may try again by creating a new separate Paypal account for a family member of yours.
You can even verify Paypal account by listing your bank account details there and that is a better option than using Entropay credit card.
