Golmuri cum Jugsalai, Potka, Patamda and Dhalbhumgarh come under Dhalbhum sub-division and Ghatshila, Musabani, Dumaria, Baharagora and Chakulia come under Ghatshila sub-division. Jamshedpur is the district head quarter.
