Reality show are now the best source of income for Television channels in India, and TV channels in West Bengal are in the race too. From Film stars to sports stars everyone can be seen on TV programs this days. Some time they are hosts, some time they participate or some time they come to promote their movies. Listing here the best and most loved TV shows in Bangla television.

• Rojgere Ginni

  Started in 2000 when Etv Bangla TV channel launched this hugely popular unique game show still running in the prime time television seven days a week, 365 days a year. Even after 10 years not even a single format of this game show has changed. This is the longest running TV reality game show with over 3000 episodes. This is basically to celebrate “the state of being a housewife”.

• Dadagiri Unlimited

  This is a show hosted by former Indian Cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. After a huge success of season one in 2009, this year in 2010 Dadagiri Unlimited 2 started again on Zee Bangla. This is basically a quiz game show with 8 participants from 8 district in West Bengal. Each episode has a winner and in the final the winners from the past episodes have to complete to win the grand prize.

• Dance Bangla Dance

  The best Bengali dance reality show for sure. This show first aired on Zee Bangla in 2008 was hosted by Mithun Chakraborty and made a historic success. Third season of this show named Dance Bangla Dance Junior started this month. Mithun Chakraborty is the judge and named as Maha Guru. After huge success of dance bangla dance a new show named Dance India Dance started on Zee TV. Mithun Chakraborty was there also as a judge and Maha Guru.

• Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

  One of the oldest and biggest Bengali musical reality show aired on Zee Bangla. On its 11th season that ended 15th September this year the show was named as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs 2010. This show has produced starts like Aneek Dhar (winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa all India 2008), Debojit Dutta, Sanchita Bhattacharya and many more. Kumar Sanu and Manali Thakur was the judges of this program.

• Mirakkel

  Zee Bangla
  
  The first Bengali santd up comedy show Mirakkel was first aired on 2006 and recorded a grand success. Show was named by the host Mir. His charming attitude and sense of humor made this show a real treat to eyes and ears. Last season Mirakkel Akkel Challenger 5 was judge by Paran Bandyopadhyay, Sreelekha Mitra and Rajatava Dutta.
